SCHAACK RANCH began on Nov. 19, 1994 when Clay and Holly said "I DO"!  Together they started out with combining their herds together, Clay with 3 head of horses and close to 50 cows and Holly with 1 mare and close to another 50 head of cows.  Clay purchased a Gelbveih bull named ICE from Elk Creek Gelbvieh, owned by Phil and Linda Vandervort.  We started selling a few bull calves out of him to just a handful of customers.  We transitioned away from the Gelbvieh to straight Angus.  As you grow and learn about the industry and constantly improving your herd, we adventured into the registration of our cattle.  We were already keeping indepth records making the transition smooth.  Clays background from National College with associate degree in Vet Tech, helped pave the pathway for Clay with all our reproduction work in both cattle and horses.  Our bull sales started out from private treaty, to having our oldest son auctioneer the first sale as an 8th grader to today.

One of the mares Clay had named Rythm Reno (out of his parents MR KINO SNIP stallion) we bred to Jason and KayCee Ohm stallion Tailerwood
